Recent Stock Purchase March 2022

I’ll be the first to say that I don’t have a crystal ball, nor do I pretend to even attempt to understand what is going on in the markets these days as massive sell offs followed by booms in the market become the norm. I can predict with 100% certainty that I do not know where the bottom is nor the top. The only thing I can do is remain calm and continue to make my monthly buys and dollar cost average my positions buying at near all time highs while also buying during big time swoons. With so much financial uncertainty it really is the only thing you can do. See, as long term dividend growth investors we are by default optimists as we are investing for a better financial future and we believe there will be a brighter future despite the bleak near term happenings. The alternative is to barricade yourself in some remote location and cut yourself off from the rest of the world and what kind of life is that? With that being said I continued to nibble and add to my portfolio though a much smaller amount of fresh cash was put to work after putting in over $1,400 last month. Maybe I’m getting a little more conservative these days.

I have added to my taxable account 0.4615 shares for a total investment of $100.00 in Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (APD). With this recent purchase my taxable account holdings in APD now totals 41.6967 shares with a market value of $9,106.14.

I have added to my taxable account 0.7008 shares for a total investment of $100.00 in 3M Company (MMM). With this recent purchase my taxable account holdings in MMM now totals 24.9287 shares with a market value of $3,576.69.

I have added to my taxable account 1.2110 shares for a total investment of $100.00 in Starbucks Corporation (SBUX). With this recent purchase my taxable account holdings in SBUX now totals 19.794 shares with a market value of $1,637.85.

I have added to my taxable account 3 shares for a total investment of $105.93 in UGI Corporation (UGI). This is a new position in my portfolio.

In all, I have put $405.93 of fresh capital to work in the month of March with four small buys and stuck to my March stock considerations along with a couple additions.
