    • Hi Passivecanadianincome,

I love my Canadian banks, TD, BNS and RY. All have been good performers for the most part though BNS has been lagging a bit as of late. In any case, they all are to remain with me for now. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • Hi DD,

Making moves indeed. I have been focusing more on my taxable account especially since we combined our accounts into one. There is still a monster BP position from Mrs. DivHut that I’m not sure what we should do with. A good problem to have πŸ™‚ Thanks for your continued support.

    • Hi MD,

I don’t expect these result to continue for the next year. As long as I can show growth every month I will be happy. Now that I’m starting to sell some positions it may affect some results for next year. I have to get my portfolio a little leaner because of all my spin offs.

  1. Wow – impressive update! Should hit the 1k mark this month easily next year. Congrats on the results! The July totals over here brought in $177.88 from 12 companies. Gotta like that LTC monthly dividend, was looking at that one in the 30s but never quite pulled the trigger!

    • Hi Divcome,

Keep growing your portfolio any which way you can. I always say consistency is key. As you know I keep making monthly buys during the highs and lows of the market and anything in between. Buy a little, buy a lot… whatever you can manage for the long haul.

    • Hi ED,

Tobacco has been a relatively new holding for me at this size while the Canadian banks have been with me for many years. It’s been a while since I added to any of those positions but it’s nice to see them returning a nice chunk every three months. Consistency is key.

    • Hi PC,

Thank you for those kind words. Sometimes we put up low growth, average growth and high growth. The key word in any of our updates should always be “growth.”
